Let’s take our – very different - view of a wedding as an example.

Instead of the classic old-fashioned still photography we want to record the event and the action. We call it “Impulse Photography” and it is an art on its own. There are no studio lights, very limited posing and minimum intrusion into your special day. Even the conventional tri-pod is used sparingly. Ewout Rijk de Vries walks around and “records the atmosphere.”. He photographs the real you and your guests as he sees you through his camera lens. Computer corrections are kept to a minimum.

If you want to “look like someone else” on your wedding day, Ewout is not your photographer.

You interview Ewout Rijk de Vries for your event, but he also interviews you. He   has never taken an assignment if he felt the contact was not right. Photography has been his hobby & profession in the far corners of the world. No event is too small. He does not compromise on quality and work, but he is equally confident with an event that includes hundred’s of people.
