Ewout Rijk de Vries handles all requests for photo work, from weddings, outside family nature photos to real estate and commercial goods. He also has worked for 40 years as a travel photographer for newspapers and magazines in several countries. Let’s take our – very different - view of a wedding as an example.

Instead of the classic still photography we want to record the event and the action. We call it “Impulse Photography” and it is an art on its own. There are no studio lights, very limited posing and minimum intrusion into your special day. Ewout walks around and “records the atmosphere.” He photographs the real you and your guests as he sees it through the camera lens. Computer corrections are kept to a minimum.

If you prefer to “look like someone else,” or want “Glamour Shots” as most brides normally do, we understand and Ewout is not your photographer. There is no compromise on quality, but he is equally confident with events including 4 people, or several hundred.

You interview Ewout Rijk de Vries for your event, but he also interviews you. He has never taken an assignment if he felt the contact was not right. Photography and specialty travel are his hobby & profession and he travels to the far corners of the world in his profession.
